Cooking Classes
Our cooking classes are a chance for you to pick up some insider tips and tricks of the trade from NZ's best known chefs and food writers, and our own knowledgeable staff. Classes typically last for 1- 1.5 hours. Places are limited to 35 seats.
Enjoy hors d'oeurves and a glass of wine on arrival. Our guest chefs will prepare three courses, while our Sabato Basics classes focus on one or two dishes in depth. You'll enjoy tasting plates, and there is a screen to aid viewing. Recipes will be provided, and we are open late for shopping after the class.
Free Cooking Demonstrations
If you’re in need of a little recipe rejuvenation, pop in at midday for our free weekend cooking demos. Our Saturday Casual Cooking gives you inspiration for easy, achievable weeknight meals. Our Spanish Sunday Supper serves up something special but simple for dinner. Demos resume the weekend of the 25 & 26 February.

The Salmon Man
