Treat your foodie father to a trip to Europe at Sabato with our Cheese & Charcuterie Weekend! Join us on Saturday and Sunday in our Mt. Eden showroom to taste and explore our extensive range of cheeses and cured meats from our favourite corner of the world.

You may forget you’re in rainy old Auckland for a moment as you wander through our store, sampling some continental delicacies while sipping your complimentary Allpress espresso. Savour the Spanish flavours of spicy chorizo salami, or nutty Manchego served with slivers of sweet quince paste. Feast on some fine French tartlets – petite pastry morsels filled with the flavoursome Bleu d’Auvergne. Or perhaps you might like to indulge in a little bit of Italy with a piece of pizza – topped with a selection of our Italian cheeses, or some crispy pancetta.

Freshly baked French pastries will also be on sale, and you could pick up one of our new miche loaves – a crusty artisan bread made with a sourdough starter.

Dishing up these delicatessen delights will be our helpful showroom staff, who are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to your culinary questions. Our reliable recipe cards will be on hand, packed with inspirational ideas, and there’ll be a few tempting promotions in store too! You’re sure to find the perfect present for Dad amongst our range of gourmet goodies and gift hampers.

Well respected food writers, Ginny Grant and Kathy Paterson, will be in-store on Sunday, between 11.00am and 1.00pm, to sign copies of their new book “The New Zealand Vegetable Cookbook”. Treat yourself or get the perfect gift for the 'foodie' in your life.
