Liquirizia Menozzi De Rosa follows the ancient tradition of using the extract of the liquorice root to flavour the liquorice, while most commercial brands use anise oil and little or no actual liquorice root extract. Menozzi also uses the extrusion method, rather than flowing hot product into stamps, which results in a beautiful gloss and perfect texture - the hallmarks of high quality liquorice.
