Callipo
Founded in 1913 by Giacinto Callipo, Callipo Conserve Alimentari SpA is managed today by the fourth generation of the family.
Based in Calabria, they are ISO 9002 certified and were the first company in Italy to receive the Customs Reliability Certificate. Their products are dolphin friendly.
Processed soon after the catch, their tuna is deliciously fleshy and tender. Light pink in colour, it has lean flesh and comes packed in either olive oil or a lightly salted brine.
