Currently a deputy food editor for Cuisine Magazine and freelance food stylist, Ginny Grant has had a varied career in the hospitality industry including stints at the River Café in London, Nikau Gallery Café and Boulcott St Bistro in Wellington and Delicious in Auckland.  She spent two years teaching cookery classes at the Epicurean Workshop as well as contributing recipes for DISH magazine.

Oils, Grains & Vinegars ~ Julie Le Clerc

Prolific cookbook author, food writer and celebrity chef Julie Le Clerc  has had an eventful culinary career that includes many years cooking in professional kitchens, running her own boutique catering business and owning and cooking for two highly successful cafés – Byzantium, on Auckland’s Ponsonby Road, and legendary Westmere institution the Garnet Road Food Store

Join Julie and share in some of her culinary secrets as she serves up some inspirational ideas with pantry essentials – grains, oils, and vinegars.

Here are some delicious dates for your diary:

Saturday 20th March ~ Meet Greg Scopas from Salumeria Fontana, Supreme Winner of last year's Cuisine Artisan Awards will be in store showcasing his delicous gourmet sausages, between 11am and 2pm.

Saturday 10th April ~ Meet Jeremy Friend from J. Friend & Co, and taste his New Zealand Artisan Wild Thyme Honey, "the gorgonzola of honey", Runner up in the 2010 Cuisine Artisan Awards, between 11am and 2pm.

Saturday 17th April ~ Marco Kouch, chef and founder of Phoenix Gourmet Salmon will be here to explain the health benefits of this "super food".  Come and taste the difference, between 11am and 2pm.

Saturday 15th May ~ Helen Dorresteyn from Clevedon Valley Buffalo Company, Supreme Winner of the 2010 Cuisine Artisan Awards for their "outstanding example of European-style yoghurt" made purely with buffalo milk. This versatile product has been a hit with chefs, try it for yourself, in store between 11am and 2pm

We have tastings of our other products, including our range of specialist cheeses, available from 9.00am ~ 4.00pm in our showroom at 57 Normanby Rd, Mt Eden.
