About Us
Welcome to Sabato
We source fine foods primarily from Italy, Spain and France. Most of our suppliers are small (often family run) businesses that use traditional methods of production to create outstanding products. We regularly travel to Europe to check product quality, collect information on trends and source new interesting products/suppliers. As a result, Sabato has been first to introduce many key ingredients to the New Zealand market, such as La Chinata smoked paprika, Calogiuri Vincotto, El Navarrico piquillo pimientos and Valrhona chocolate, and we enjoy continuing to make exciting additions to the range.
Sabato supplies many of the great restaurants and fine food stockists in New Zealand. Our Showroom is located in Mt Eden and open to the public 7 days a week.
